What a beautiful movie this is. While it is true that pigs and farm animals do not speak , there are things that are true. Pigs and farm animals form a bond with mothers and separation stresses both mothers and children. 2. Pigs and other farm animals do have modes of communication. 3. Animals do not want to die and will fight to avoid being hurt or killed. This movie though not necessarily vegan it does have a strong vegan message. First Babe does not think that some animals are less than others. Second. The farmer played by my favorite vegan actor James Cromwell , feels bad about killing babe. This movie BTW is the one movie that made James make the connection to see how precious animals are. Later he went vegan and be one of the top activists for animal rights. This movie is a must see for vegan families and vegan children 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿/5 on Prime

Its cute, funny and scary just with real live settings and the music adds more volume to a simple story about life and death in a farm.

I worked at a Philharmonic orchestra as an usher, heard the original Camille Saint-Saëns, asked myself for several days where I knew the melody from, and couldn't stop smiling when I found out it was from Babe. Really wholesome. Brilliant and heartfelt movie

Favorite movie growing up, I love it even now. As Snape said, "Always.".

Animals on a farm. Cute and engaging for kids and adults alike. I don't understand negative reviews for this movie. Perhaps they are reviewing Babe 2, which is an anomaly of a movie. The stuff cult classics are made of.

Though a bit childish, Babe is a surprisingly well made family film with some emotional moments.
