For a movie that's all about sex, I found it quite boring. Nicole Kidman's portrayal of Romy is flat. This fits with the rest of the movie as none of the characters have any depth. Don't waste your time.

Story was disjointed and not at all believable. Some of the spicy scenes were alright but even then they seemed odd and erratic. Nicole Kidman looks good though.

Even with Nicole Kidman in the lead, The Baby Girl is a confusing, slow-paced film that tries to explore dominance and submission but ends up feeling scattered and boring. The themes clash more than connect, and the character dynamics lack depth. It left me more frustrated than entertained.

Do not waste your time. I was absolutely disappointed as a fan of Nicole Kidman, this was completely boring, waiting for excitement when it was so predictable and awkward role for her. Forced roles on other actors. Skip it.

people simply don't get it. there are so many underlying meanings within this film; the movie itself is directed with a personalized and an intimate feel whilst upholding reality through its writing. there is a lot I can say. it is not for everyone. but there's so many different takeaways. easter eggs. people aren't getting it.

The acting is a bit vacuous but if you want an entertaining movie without a lot of heavy details, this will work.

Ghetto version of 50 shades of grey. Don’t waste your time.

This could have been a deeper darker romp, but just fell short, and ended flat.

The movie is bad because its script teeters on clichés and forced situations, failing to build characters with clear motivations or a narrative arc that's even remotely interesting. The plot, which attempts to explore dynamics of power and desire, fizzles into a succession of scenes that don't quite connect, leaving the viewer with a feeling of emptiness and confusion. The characters, far from generating empathy or fascination, come across as unsympathetic, and their actions lack solid justification, making any kind of emotional investment in their fates difficult. It even generates embarrassment, a palpable cringe at the forced nature of their interactions and decisions. The chemistry between the protagonists is conspicuously lacking, making the film's central relationship feel artificial and unbelievable, stripping it of the tension or appeal it was intended to generate. Despite its attempt to enter the realm of an erotic thriller, the film fails miserably to create a sensual or exciting atmosphere. The intimate scenes lack the necessary intensity and feel more like a passionless formality, often creating an uncomfortable and artificial feeling. Compared to other offerings in the genre, "Baby Girl" pales in every respect, offering an unsatisfactory cinematic experience that fails to provoke or entertain. Nicole Kidman's talent, though present, is overshadowed by the overall weakness of the project, leaving her performance as an isolated effort amid a disjointed ensemble that, at times, borders on the ridiculous and produces that feeling of "cringe" so characteristic of poorly executed situations. Ultimately, the film comes across as a failed attempt to generate controversy and eroticism, remaining a superficial and forgettable offering that, at times, is downright embarrassing to watch.
