Back in Action
audience Reviews
, 60% Audience Score- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsOne of the most frustrating action movies I've seen. Good cast at least.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWithout fail, Netflix always seems to release some of its worst straight-to-streaming films in January. Lucky for me, Back in Action is the first 2025 release I have seen (sarcasm). As expected, Back in Action delivers a forgettable action-comedy with an uncreative plot and complete misuse of its talented cast. With Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx playing two spies that fall in love and start a family until conflict draws them back to espionage, Back in Action feels like a poorly regurgitated mix of past action films with an abundance of overused clichés. Overall, Back in Action is soulless and not even the comedy can salvage this film from mediocrity. It amazes me that Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, and Andrew Scott are willing to take this job, but I can imagine Netflix throwing a large bag at each one of them. Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz have decent chemistry, but the script for Back in Action is disgustingly cringey.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFun and easy watch. Foxx and Diaz have great chemistry, the casting for their kids was great and perfect stream movie.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsliked a lot, was fun and easy to watch, yes a little predictable but overall entertaining
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsLegit fun, sweet comedic romp! What more could you want?
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsÉ isso?...
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI really loved the Movie. The main role characters had a very good chemistry and at the end also with the kids. It was very exciting. Can’t wait for part two
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsDiaz and Fox are a phenomenally cool duo. Definitely made it a favorite of mine!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsA generic, witty, action filled movie, repeating the routines of most. Yet still fun to Gen Z watchers. They made a modern acceptable thriller for youth of different ages ranges, stereotypes, cultural difference, genders, etc. It's like Spy kids. Because there are so many different views in society we will each take a personal hit at it according to our liking of content the movie has in it, in regards to the message, and to our personal views of ourselves and society, and that is okay. Still to be fair outside of my opinionated cultural difference I think we watched it because of Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsSilly tricks , ridiculous story line , empt characters and no depth in scenario, what a waste of time
