Back in the Day

Great cast, good story. This movie has some problems. The editing is kind of sluggish. The acting is half-baked. At one point Anabella Sciorra even fumbles her lines. Some trite dialogue ("Right now we are so young"), I really wanted to like this movie, given the retro cast (Glover, Sciorra, Madsen, Baldwin!). But with all its great elements, the directing and editing fall short. Oh well.

"Back in the day" they knew how to make movies......

It's like rocky meets godfather and has a retarded baby. Somehow it holds your interest just long enough to realize that you were slightly entertained....

Im baffled by this movie. It was poorly written the acting went from a few decent named actors, Baldwin, Madsen, Glover reciting idiotic dialogue. To totally novice actors in lead roles also reciting idiotic dialogue. Using Lilo Brancato to try and stir controversy obviously did not work for this turkey. Just Awful.

I sometimes wonder why I go to indie films....this is one of those times. Rehashed same old same old story only poorly written and portraying Brooklyn residents as white racists, while at the same time Having to see them give a role to the 'accused' and somehow not convicted? felony cop killer a part in this? Who financed this? Do they realize they'll never see their money out of this? But more importantly..why even make this film without getting a professional writer and having the lead roles played by professional actors. Just awful.

great movie !! the first of great talent ! great story line !!

One of the worst written, acted and directed movies I have ever seen !

I thought the story was well thought out and great. Lots of my favorite actors in there and the Director Paul Borghese really gets his actors to up their game. I love the scene with the baseball bats and the guy with the glasses who is drunk was pretty funny as he gets pummeled. I saw it once I am going to see it again. Great job all around and looking forward to what these boys are putting out next.

WTF. This movie makes North Korean cinema look genuine. Who the hell gave this writer and director any budget? Is the cast doing it for charity? I watched half of it thinking I was getting punk'd but I think I'm in on the joke now. A MUST SEE FOR 2016!!!
