A Halloween-time classic that has unlimited rewatch value. Beetlejuice is always a joy to watch, Tim Burton created a movie that provides a visually pleasing atmosphere along with an entertaining story. Michael Keaton’s iconic performance as Beetlejuice is also a primary reason for the films longevity term success.

    absolutely boring, completely unneeded slop.

Michael Keaton totally owns this as Beetlejuice. Resumed the role so well. Nods to the original. Things you'd only "get "if you'd seen it. I did enjoy it, entertaining. Having watched the original back in the day I'd say it's a very decent follow up. However, still prefer the first one as it has some totally iconic scenes. The music miming in the original is superior to the attempts in this. Still worth a watch though.

I have to admit, this started off pretty rough and I wasn't enjoying it but it kind of grew on me.Its definitely a Tim Burton movie, just in its look and Danny Elfmans score is really good. The use of practical effects was good. The story was weird and I didn't like some of it but once the underworld was introduced it picked up. Beetlejuice was in the movie less than expected though but he is the best part of the movie and Michael Keaton does a great job. It had me laughing a few times but some jokes just fell flat. I don't get why it's a classic though, maybe just because it's Tim Burton and Michael Keaton before Batman

A fun watch that is fueled by some great design choices, its graceful way of blending comedy and gothic elements and Michael Keaton's terrific performance as the lead character, Tim Burton's Beetlejuice doesn't use its titular figure as much as it should, its story doesn't offer too much and some of its effects look outdated.

Beetlejuice is the defining work of Tim Burton's entire filmography, saying quite a bit of what kind of filmmaker and person he is. The Day-O dance scene is one of the defining scenes of the 1980s, proving how much more playful the film is.
