This movie has terrible reviews, but I love it. So much that I've watched it multiple times. Very VERY rare thing for me. If you're not into lez don't watch.

I loved the red light and shadow on her, against her golden hair, casting shadows on the right side of her knife-carved face. I like that she walked to the balcony in a pink yukata and looked at the back of the roof opposite, the water gurgling like unbreakable lust. There are a lot of questions but I just like it, maybe Dallas is too handsome.

Nopes... If you like non-reality icy about real relationships...to my knowledge, lesbians do not act like this,band the dude might be even more wackos than the chicks.

I felt that this movie is TOXIC for me. I felt like the story doesn't match together and it's being comprehensively unconnected. I don't recommend that movie tbh.

Better than expected.Not just an sexually erotic masterpiece but really good acting.Really pulls you into the struggle and absolute freedom of being who you are versus the misery of being what people expect of you.The ending was definitive but I wanted more.Not disappointed though.Being hetero this movie is definitely an eye opening,thought provoking work of art.The script and visually appealing scenes and scope in general is beyond great

I wish this film had focused less on the sex scenes and more on the story behind it - such as Jasmine's journey, and building a stronger connection / relationship between the two women. There was so much potential for this film, with strong chemistry between the two actors which made the movie more enjoyable (excluding the fact that their relationship was toxic, i.e. cheating). The soundtrack and cinematography however was quite bland.

I like what's bad and trashy about it. the more critics at NY times hate it, the more I know it's the film for me. that said, be prepared to appreciate it as a film that is "bad by accident" but enjoyable. The central character is essentially a guy. That is, she behaves according to what we culturally expect from a guy. Aggressive, dismissive of competition. Doesn't want to emotionally invest with sexual partners. That's the fun subversion of the whole thing.
