It's unclear what Koratala Siva wanted to achieve with the Mahesh Babu starrer. What was the story he wanted to tell? Is it about prevailing dynasty politics in the country?

This is one of Mahesh Babu's better performances.

The film has added depth as it also deals with nepotism in politics, politicking based on caste and the red-tape which plagues government procedures. We, as the governed, get to live vicariously.

At the end of the day, watching a Koratala Siva's film feels like reading a book. He has consistently proven to be a good storyteller, and with Bharat Ane Nenu, he has shown yet again that there's plenty of drama.

Prakash Raj delivers a better performance, and along with the other actors, including Posani Krishna Murali, Aamani, Jeeva, Devaraj and Jeeva, keeps the movie on the rails.

Bharat Ane Nenu deserves a thumbs up for its well thought out plot and nuanced characters.

Mahesh Babu declared that this was his best ever performance. And while the jury is still out on that, he most certainly has delivered a performance his ever growing fan base would enjoy watching.

Director Koratala Siva further establishes himself as a sure-shot hit machine. And importantly, it's a welcome relief for Mahesh Babu and his devoted fans.
