- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsClassic 2000s film. Just fun.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars"Bye, Bye Little Boy Blue... I am Back!" This movie is pure chaos and I love it. It feels like the script was thrown together in a day or two, but that's not a terrible thing. I imagine the board looked something like this: Step 1 - Kid is a liar Step 2 - Kid tells the truth and no one believes him Step 3 - Kid does whatever he can to prove he's telling the truth Step 4 - Paul Giamatti is dyed blue Step 5 - Kid becomes a successful writer in Hollywood Frankie Muniz and Amanda Bynes are adorable, Paul Giamatti is the epitome of a vindictive villain and the antics are hilarious. There are dumb moments scattered throughout, but it's the perfect movie to throw on when you don't want to veg out. Best Character: Frank Best Quote: "Eat my bloomers, blue boy!" - Crazy Old Lady Best Scene: Marty turns blue. Honorable mention: Finding the hideout Best Song: "Hungry Like the Wolf"
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsStandard fare kids movie, elevated by the star quality of Muniz and Giamatti. It's playful and silly, yet the actions of the protagonist are deeply malicious. It's enjoyable and light-hearted, though ridiculous.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFun, lighthearted movie. Yes, it's a kid/teen film. Nothing wrong with that.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThis movie has an interesting story and set-up, but unfortunately, the film does nothing with it and resorts to simple slapstick and gags.
