One of the best anime movies with great story and character development. The fighting scenes are especially soo good !! The end fight was insane !!

Definitely one of the better anime movies I've seen in a while

One of the greatest films to ever be made, it was like an entire season of the show in one. It was action all the way through which was perfect.

Maybe, I'm just not the audience for this genre. It's so jarring.

It's a basic OVA-style slug-fest. It squeezes everybody in at some point with an opportunity to use their signature spells. The movie rushes through its pacing to the point where there's no tension, which means there's then no pay-off. And there's no time to build any pathos either. The villains are staged to be sympathetic villains whose cause has been corrupted (very on-brand for the series) but you don't get time to see that. The writing advice "show don't tell" comes to mind. Ultimately, they tried to put a 12hr season worth of story into a 2hr movie. As a fan Black Clover, it's ok, but unsatisfying. If you're not familiar with the series, there's nothing worth watching here.
