Black November
audience Reviews
, 38% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsTotally not what I waS expecting. Definitely worth a watch.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI'm sure the director/writer/producer had good intentions but the film fails in every aspect.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsBlack November has good intentions and a good message with the movie is way too preachy in the movie doesn’t make much of an impact. The movie is full of your usual clichés, one note characters, and stereotypes. The acting for the most part is decent and I know everybody meant well while making it but the whole movie has a very B-movie or made for TV feel to it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExcellent portrayal of the struggle of communities in the Niger Delta against the injustice of international oil companies and a corrupt government. Amata conveyed the complexity of emotions and humanity in the real-life scenario.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsInteresting movie about oil and politics and how human rights are violated all in the name of money
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt has the benefit of having a Very engaging story and its a fairly well made movie.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLoved this movie. I read most of the comments or should I say critics and I must say most of them don't know what they are talking about. Rich Cline rated the movie 3/5 but gave Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 5/5. No shade, it is actually a good movie. Lol! you know what I mean when I say people clearly don't know what they are talking about He also says it is a film that feels amateur to the western audience. Really? Tell me more. I really can't stop laughing because people seem to have the feeling that they are giving constructive criticism, meanwhile it's just t*****. The movie was nice. I really didn't want to comment, but I had to defend Jeta Amata (One love.) It appeals to the Nigerian audience and if western people like it. then we are also fine with that.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA good movie.. Not great, but good. Some parts drag at times but the story hits a nerve regarding some of the issues happening over in Africa. The landscape does draw you in to feeling the way it must be like to live in some of the villages. Some of the dialogue could have been cleaned up a bit but overall I would recommend.
