audience Reviews
, 91% Audience Score- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsJust like a rock song, Gurinder Chadha expertly balances its themes, heart, and other amazing aspects of the film, turning it into an explosive yet wonderful tour de force for the director that made Bend it Like Beckham.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsLove the story. Obviously love the music. Truly despise some of the acting.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOne of the very best films I've ever seen! Very moving, funny, great music, superb acting, and a superb story. Amazing to read that it's true! Highly recommended, this one's a keeper. I'm going to watch it again.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsExcellent musical drama about relationships, including with oneself. Being based on a true story makes this film even better. Sure can't complain about the music!
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsBoring way too much sex silly story...same old stuff.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFor a low-budget film, it has a charm that many deep-pocketed productions often lack.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsI enjoyed this movie & the story it told about a young man trying to find his own way out of family traditions through the music & lyrics of Bruce Springsteen. It gave me a better appreciation for the Boss and the lyrics he wrote back in the 80's and they still carry forward to today's generation.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsA teenager from an Asian family living in 1987 England uses the music of Bruce Springsteen to find his own voice… there is so much to like about this movie, from the 1980s cultural references to its Springsteen soundtrack. It has humour and an ultimately heart-warming message. And I love that is based on a true story.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsCute but predictable, not enough Springsteen for my taste.
