Freaks isn't much of a movie, but it does retain an eye-popping sense of violence, brazen in its contempt for women and disregard for human life.

The point of this crappy exploitation film is to be revolting, and if you're not revolted by it you might be a sicko.

Exists in that disconcerting crossroads of loathsome exploitation and annihilating art
