For me it was cathartic. Great acting from both Paulson and Duplass. low key at first even maybe a bit slow, but it builds up as the story / back story comes up. The emotions are raw, the acting enhance them. I dont want to tell too much about it, but the last third of the movie, with how and why their teenage romance ended was very "real". That gave it a 5 stars for me. And i'll be watching it again.

A realistic story of 2 adults who still need to learn how to be themselves.

Sarah Paulson always wonderful, but very slight story, and not the most engaging of characters. Not bad. -Jeff Marshall, Movie Blogger (Facebook)

You had me at Sara Paulson amd she dis not disappoint. The man was AMAZING too. This is my first review, so forgive me. But I loved it so much I said "I'm going to go leave a review" in an impromptu manner. It was that good.

One of the freshest movies I've ever seen. So incredibly good. A breath of fresh air. Just simply brilliant.

Loved it. Both actors do a convincing job portraying adults who have regrets. You can imagine them as teen-aged lovebirds. No flashbacks required. Kooky and smart and heartwarming. The synopsis, however, gave away the specific regret. Still well done.

Boring, shallow script. Too many clichés.

I feel like this movie resonated with every emotion. It was time well spent watching this.

Slow-burner that reels you in, plays you and spits you out - in that order ! Paulson shows just why she is one of the best in the business, she and Duplass perform a lot of heavy-lifting in a dialogue-heavy, blur of movement and slew of subtleties in this understated double-hander.

A sensitive beautiful portrait of love and reality, of being able to hold what is, of youth and foolishness and the undying regardless.
