…that the final twist redeems this entire film is unusual and admirable&#59; what’s missing here is the engagement and disguise that might have made Bodies Bodies Bodies worth sitting through to appreciate the pay-off…

In her controlled English-language debut, Dutch filmmaker Reijn ... uses genre to expose, not without affection, a generation steeped in youth, sex and power — or at least the appearance of it — and how that wreaks havoc on sincere, honest relationships.
