Bomb City
audience Reviews
, 82% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA very well made film and a tragic account of young kids taking things way too far.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is a beautiful story that captured my heart, it has beautiful cinematography and an amazing soundtrack, RIP Brian Deneke.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI don't mind slow movies but this just didn't get me invested whatsoever. Dull
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsAvoid at all cost, there's nothing but wasted here; bad language poor story. Why even this matter? What's with the title do with "bomb? Why a high rating either? $ back guarantee, please.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 stars… it suffers for its terrible performances and dreadful dialogue. I was hopeful. I thought they might accidentally get one decent performance. Not. There is something remarkably silly about anyone older than eighteen on a skateboard. Aaaaaaaw … they're all good people … they like the liddle puppie dogs….All very simplistic and black and white with its views. And that constant give me emotion music…Didn't know when to quit. Also a little hard get preached to by Marlyn Manson (SP - ICGAF) these days….
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsVery surprising and shocking picture. Highly recommended.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThe classic timeless theme of youthful angst clashing against itself, punk rockers versus jock preps in this one. It seemed like it wanted to tell both sides of the story but it was unbalanced in doing so but somewhat justified that with the ending it gave. Unbalanced, flashforwards, flashbacks, slow and with nothing much going on at times... but I didn't hate it. Different editing could make this a lot more appealing to the masses. Still, people who like American History X, The Outsiders, etc. should like this but unlike those this is based on a true story. 3 1/2 of 5
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThese young people, especially the anarchists, are of a ridiculous and embarrassing naivety when they believe to be against the system while on the contrary they are subject to one of the oldest principles of power management: "divide et impera", "divide and rule". And the choice of songs for the soundtrack is certainly not of a better quality. (Mauro Lanari)
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsWow! probably the best movie ive seen in 2019 shouldve been the most underated movie of 2017 or 2018. A great movie!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsPowerful! ...both the story and the storytelling. If you are unfamiliar with the case, do yourself a favor and do not google or research it before viewing. Just turn it on and buckle up. For me, it was too deep to watch in one sitting. So many emotions, I needed a breather 2/3 in. Recommended to the highest degree.
