Veering a bit from the truth, Bombshell dissappoints by ignoring pages of incendiary accountants and giving too much time to the fictionalized Robbie. Kidman and Lithgow looked out of place trying to do justice to their counterparts, but Theron was fantastic as Megyn Kelly.

Mikey's Movie Review: Bombshell (2019) The cast is outstanding, with Theron, Kidman & Robbie each delivering spirited performances (as Megyn Kelly, Gretchen Carlson & Kayla Pospisil respectively), but this topical film barely skims the surface. It's almost as if Director Jay Roach has been muted and censored himself. His usual scathing, satirical style far from the forefront. An almost unrecognisable John Lithgow is exceptionally vile as his true life counterpart - Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, while the whole supporting cast bring their A-Game. As an introduction to the burgeoning #metoomovement it's worth a look, but there is so much more to this story than we see here... Mikey's Movie Rating: 3/5*

This film is too gross for me. In the beginning only the dialogue was gross. I stopped watching early when the action became gross as well.

Great cast, great acting, based loosely on actual events, interesting peek into a culture most are not familiar with- it's an easy addition to any collection.

Really good story of the true event. I almost don't recognize Charlize Theron in the Megyn Kelly role she portrays it so well. Kind of movie that grabbed my attention from the start and never really let go. Really good cast, good writing. Well worth the watch for me.

BOMBSHELL is so good that a subplot so small it's in just one scene sticks with me five years later.

Captures the newsroom environment perfectly. Absolutely a Must See,

Not nearly as bad as I anticipated but still a painfully uninteresting examination of this scandal.

Entertaining movie with an excellent cast. And the Roger Ailes character seems appropriately despicable.
