Bone Tomahawk

Saw this awhile ago but had forgotten the title. Upon re-watching, remembered it's an intelligent western with a wierd plot line. Violence, but with enough humanity to make it somewhat believeable.

I did not have a good feeling about this movie when I went into it but I am so happy to say that I was wrong as wronng can be! I thought this was a great movie. I did not expect it to go into all the different genres that it did. I also thought that the cast were great in their roles. I won't spoil it for anybody but suffice to say that it definitely is a horror movie (and I'm a lifelong horror movie fan/snob).😂 I would recommend this movie to anybody who likes anything having to do with movies.

...every moment works perfectly. Not for everyone as its very intense and violent. Otherwise buckle up and hold on , its never lets up.

I’ve no idea what the point of the movie is, but it’s pretty good horror/action stuff

I saw this movie when it first came out. I thought it was a must see then. I rewatched it 10 years later; it is still a must see. Will be one of my favorite films of all time. Westerns are not my thing,unless Tarintino is doing them. But I love horror. I imagine if Tarintino did a western horror, it would look alot like this. I am certain it would have the same cast. This movie's cast was insane. It also used one of Tarintino's muses, Kurt Russell.

The cast is amazing which for a while hid the fact that the film is incredibly poorly written, slow, and has no payoff. It’s really ham fisted as far as messaging and the “shocking” scenes come off as unintentionally humorous because of how they are directed. I really wanted to like it because the cast is so wonderful especially considering how bad the material is but it’s not good. It’s like it was written by a high school student and not one of the clever ones. I can’t stress enough how terribly written it is.

Great cast, cool environment and violence but seems to drag a bit

How is it that there is a high rating for this? You know when you watch a marionette show, and you can see all the strings? That's this movie. It's a bunch of actors you know, and it's obvious they are acting in a movie. You don't care about any of the characters. It's really boring.

Great western just not what you expect all the way through. The dialogue writing is exceptional .
