Boudica: Queen of War
audience Reviews
, 14% Audience Score- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsAbsolute waste of time. I'd love to see Michael Hirst write a version of Boudica but whoever wrote this, nope.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsWhat on earth is Olga Kurylenko doing in this mostly horribly written and terribly directed movie? The subject matter is very important and deserves an excellent film version. Seems that Kurylenko seems to even be aware that she's working within a train wreck since her acting is not anywhere near most of her otherwise very fine work.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely awful and cringy.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsthe laziest script. worst direction. worst cinematography and production design. the sword?? i picked that up at a dollar general store.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsA real rotten tomato. One of the best stories of all time, that could've rivaled Gladiator for epic greatness, spoiled by poor cinematography, poor reenactment, a disregard for cinematic scale (tiny skirmishes with the same 20-or-so people), a disregard for continuity (the changing sword) and, as if all this wasn't enough, a disregard for history. The daughters die at the beginning?? What were you thinking? Also - how many British actors were passed over for Kurylenko to get the gig? A real rotten tomato
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsPoor quality b-movie effort. Blood at every moment but none if overly shocking,
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsI felt so let down by so much of this film. Just 😒
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsDidn't really do justice to poor Boudica. Seemed very all round amateur.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars5 star make up artistic time and some reasonable good acting wasted on a very very poor script. Actors must have cringed with those lines. Even fast forwarding hoping to find good bits didn't help and gave up
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThere is literally nothing of worth in this film, not even the bloody fight scenes which are over to fast can help this along. There is little to no charisma or stage presence from the lead actors. And as a history buff, it's insulting in it's inaccuracies.
