Budz House

Black stoner movie. 'Nuff said.

Bud: Can you think of a better way to start the day? "Where it all goes down." Budz House is another stoner comedy set in the hood. The movie doesn't try to hide the fact that it is ripping off Friday, with some dialogue taken right from it. Even with basically copying another movie, Budz House completely fails at everything it is trying to do. It's not funny, it's not entertaining, and it certainly isn't something I would ever watch again or recommend anyone to watch.  Bud is a slacker 28 year old, who likes to smoke weed and is trying to get his comic book published. Basically, Bud's life is hanging out and getting high with his three friends. When he hides a stash under his house and shit mixes wi it; a super weed is created that grows extremely fast and that is very powerful. The friends begin selling it, but two rival gang members are trying to hunt them down.  There's really nothing I can say that would be a compliment for this film. The attempt at breaking the fourth wall is awful, the acting is awful, the story is unoriginal and yet still originally awful. I don't care if you are a fan of the stoner comedy genre or not; more than likely you won't like this one. I recommend skipping it, and just wish someone would have told me to skip before I wasted my time on it.
