Buffaloed

Very familiar storyline for 2025 tht doesn’t do much to separate itself other than explain a lot about Buffalo and the people who live there. It’s always good to see a trashy person beat the odds and succeed, even if they are from Buffalo.

As much as I genuinely liked the storyline & dialogue, the delivery was all too often cheesy. Zoey Deutch (main character), in particular, comes off woefully insufferable… The acting is like a disney sitcom. Bummer.

A fun reflection on Buffalo, NY through the eyes of debt collectors. It was entertaining, but it was also crude making it hard to recommend to others. It did make me want to visit Buffalo and try those original wings like the Judge talked about. Saw on HBO.

60/100 - meh, funny but not the greatest

It is farfetched, but it is a fun little movie. It explores the debt collection industry that we all hate. It has numerous moments. It is ok, but nothing spectacular. Worth a watch.

Cougars of Wall Street needed more scenes.

Movie itself was pretty weak with they usual collection of "bad guy" men in the debt collection business, and a cute, young "heroine" to clean up the mess. Typical Hollywood BS, and made with a low budget. If you're from the Western NY area as I am, it's entertaining for all the cultural references to the area.
