At first, I was genuinely disappointed by the whitewashing of the main character—originally a Japanese hitman in the novel Maria Beetle—and the casting of Brad Pitt in the role. It felt like another missed opportunity for Asian representation in a story rooted in Japanese culture and setting. But then I actually watched Bullet Train, and to my surprise, I found myself enjoying it. Brad Pitt brought a surprisingly charming and humorous energy to the role. He wasn’t playing the usual “cool assassin” trope—instead, his character was quirky, self-aware, and often hilariously unlucky, which made him refreshing to watch. Beyond Pitt, the film boasts a colorful cast of characters, each with their own memorable personalities and backstories. The writing is sharp and funny, filled with witty banter and clever twists that keep things engaging. The action sequences are dynamic and over-the-top in the best way, giving the movie a stylized, anime-inspired feel that’s both chaotic and cool. In the end, Bullet Train won me over. While it’s fair to criticize the casting choices, the film itself is a wildly entertaining ride—funny, fast-paced, and visually striking. It deserves way more credit than it gets. Definitely an underrated gem.

Didn't know what to expect while watching the film which made the experience great. Brad Pitt surprisingly plays the role of a snatch and grab theif so well who just want to stop doing the like of work he does to live a more honest life. Brian Tyree Henry and Aaron Taylor-Johnson do an amazing job playing as a pair of sibling mercenaries. Despite bad bunny only being in thenfilm for 7 minutes still did a good job as an feared Mexican gunslinger. Overall a straight masterpiece of unexpect the unexpected and for the 1st a film who's theme is fate that does it a good way were it doesn't feel corny.

Bullet Train is a thrilling ride packed with non-stop action, humor, and some truly engaging moments. The film’s fast pace and quirky characters keep you hooked, especially with the unique backstories of each character, highlighted with their cool name signs. However, the plot could have used more clarity—it jumps from character to character, making it feel a bit disjointed at times. While this style adds to the fun and unpredictability, I would have preferred a more straightforward narrative. That being said, Bullet Train is a blast for action movie lovers, with Brad Pitt’s portrayal of Ladybug, Brian Tyree Henry’s portrayal of Lemon, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s portrayal of Tangerine being the highlights. Their performances really stood out and brought a lot of charm to the film. Overall, it’s a fun movie with plenty of action, but the convoluted plot stops it from being truly great.

A good mix of over-the-top action and comedy. The cast is a very fun collection of actors and play their parts well. The story has a lot of twists and turns, but never takes its self too serious. It's ridiculous in a good way. It's not going to win a bunch of awards or anything, but should keep you fairly entertained for 2 hours.
