Bunker

The technical prowess shown early in “Bunker” can’t quite sustain enough tension or chills as the movie proceeds to its grimly predictable conclusion. War is hell, so who’s going to notice another demon?

An evil creature isn’t the only thing that’s hiding in the World War I horror movie Bunker, because a good story and credible acting are nowhere to be found in this dreadfully dull misfire. The last 15 minutes of the movie are especially awful.

Bunker is a gripping little thriller with solid characters and impressive visual flair.

There's potential in BUNKER that lends itself to horror success. Unfortunately, the slow pacing makes the natural isolation-driven tension dissipate.

Any potential intrigue fizzles out between the thinly sketched characters, clumsy dialogue, and perfunctory narrative twists.

Bunker takes way too long to deliver a fairly obvious ending. A thundering score also comes across as heavy-handed and overdramatic.

Overlong, lethargic and not nearly scary, suspenseful, thrilling nor bonkers enough.
