Candles on Bay Street

Spoiler alert!! Heartwarming story of a single mom battling cancer who moves back to her hometown to find someone to care for her son after she passes. Hallmark almost always casts great known and unknown actors in their movies. Such was the case with Candles on Bay Street. Alicia Silverstone is still as adorable as ever but her performance was a little overacted. Still a worthwhile movie and story.

a decent feel good but very sad movie.you can't be upbeat after watching.the main thing is,how everyone comes together and gets along.

Troooper! Blithe music and lack of manners. The 'realistic to end all realistic' tone is effective, yet so saddening it hurts the film cinematically. 'When life gets you down, set your soul at ease.'

Just perfect for Xmas eve!

Community, almost lost in today's fast paste world. It is a great story to remind us what is important in life. Who can we count on when we are in need?

I am a sucker for Hallmark Hall of Fame movies.

This was such a beautiful film. Alicia Silverstone did a wonderful job and was very believable. At times I found myself tearing up because of how realistic the plot seemed. A job well done!
