Good western, they don't make movies like this anymore. If you like westerns you will want to see this movie.

The western story although generic, is quite a good one about cattle drive, and it is fairly well acted, the only criticism is that everything about it, the plot and sub-plots all end idealisticallly.

Good western with Joel McCrea as a Trail Boss with a 'dark past' who is hired by his former enemy to drive his herd cross country. It is during this drive that McCrea's true character emerges and the mystery surrounding his past revealed. McCrea, as usual, is the best thing in this by a country mile and elevates it from just being a average western.
