Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é bom, mas ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom.

Queen Latifah was my favorite character in the whole production.

There are musical films where, at a certain point, the constant music ends up making the film boring and tedious, but here, here in Chicago, the music, even with just a few minutes of pause, is still missing, after all, the songs are good, contagious as lice. They electrify you from head to toe, like a smile that spreads across each side of your face. In addition to the unprecedented performances that he presents with such taste and enthusiasm, Chicago is, in the end, an unmissable musical about undeniably fantastic women.

Very good movie with good performances.

Despite a very hard edge for a musical, the songs are worth hearing over and over. Principal actors showcase their "triple-threat" talents; no dubbing or stunt extras. It's all them! "Razzle Dazzle" is hilarious the way it depicts courtroom drama as "a circus".

Cinema is not theater, and while some films successfully navigate this transition, this is not one of them. Though the performances and production design are competent, the film ultimately falls short, failing to justify the praise it has received. One of the most overrated films of its time.

It's all showbiz kid! This movie makes me so happy and is the definition of a really good screen adaptation of a broadway show.

There were a couple of memorable songs and I appreciated the dark humor of this story. Richard Gere to me really stole the show, but even as someone that is not a huge fan of musicals, it was an entertaining ride. I thought the themes of being in the limelight and what you have to do to stay in it and how fleeting it is was well displayed. The symboolism with the colored handkerchiefs was very well done.

It’s definitely a play and a musical and very good in that regard. Catherine Zeta-Jones has always fascinated me and so has Renée Zellweger, for opposite reasons. I find her vision blurry but she is very talented. I never saw this movie until more than two decades later, now on TV on PBS without commercial interruptions 11.15.24.

Good music and choreography make this a good watch.
