Christmas Break-In
audience Reviews
, 17% Audience Score- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsPlease stop with these cheesy Holiday movies.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsThe storyline works and I found it quite funny. I already recommended it to my daughter. Danny Glover helps transform one of the bad guys into the good person he likely would have become without having been around a bad sister. So it comes with that positive. If you are looking for a movie to send you a pocitive vibe, this could be it
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsI've set a goal to watch and review 25 holiday movies/specials between now and January 1. And oi vey, things are off to a rough start. I'm praying to baby Jesus that this is the worst thing I will have to sit through for the next six weeks. Imagine HOME ALONE in a public school rather than a $400,000 Chicago suburb dwelling, and that's basically all you need to know. I'm not a HOME ALONE fan, but this sad knock-off makes me want to re-think my feelings. If someone told me this had been written by a 5th grader, I'd totally believe it. It takes the most banal cliches from the most banal family movies we've seen a thousand times, and the result is one TOTALLY banal movie. Nothing works here. And lucky me, I was drifting asleep during the last half hour so had to re-watch a third of this thing again just to be fair. Glover lends an air of dignity to any movie in which he participates - that's just his aura. And any fleeting moments that work belong to him. But it's sad to see him reduced to sub-sitcom material like this. In a way I resent movies like this, because the filmmakers feel they have to pander to children. I think today's kids are a lot more clever than we give them credit for, and they deserve more challenging material than this. Bah Humbug, indeed!
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starskids would really love it but i was just pretty much bored and does is the first movie were i was like dear lord can does end,but this movie is 3/10 not good with a boring story, boring acting, and pretty annoying at the same time.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhat a awesome movie
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsChristmas Break in is a cheesy home alone rip off. Before Netflix and streaming this is what made for TV movies used to be like. With streaming movies being up so high quality now why even bother with films like this? It’s awful.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsKid friendly. White nuclear family, strong female lead. This movie is wholesome.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis is one of the most awful films I have ever had the misfortune of watching. Even Danny Glover can’t rescue the awful script and amateur direction. The pacing in the second half of the film is unbearable, wherein it appears the director is trying to give the cartoonish female villain as much camera time as possible. Avoid this film.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThis was really bad. The dog was nice though.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsWorst movie I've ever seen! Wouldn't even give it half a star if it was an option. Feel sorry for Danny Glover for having to associate himself with this disgraceful film. Wouldn't be surprised if people giving this 5 stars are being paid to do so.
