As a movie, it is horrible. But as a 1 hour music video, it is incredible.

I loved this whole thing. I paid to see it in theatres and it was not a mistake. It was a beautiful movie that summed up all of Utopia and I would pay for and watch it again if someone asked me.

The audience score is WAY too low. Best music related film ever!

Terrible. The 1st 30 minutes or so was a jumble of unrelated random short videos. There were repeated scenes with a mystic talking to Travis. Then the next hour was a "concert" with Travis playing rather terrible music in an empty amphitheater. To top it off, tickets were $25.

Today, I watched... Circus Maximus (2023) It had some cool ideas, shots, and interesting props but the execution in terms of storyline and sequencing was awful. It was a "music" movie where you would hope it tells a story through the album, Utopia, but no. It's half baked ideas thrown together with no cohesion. It goes from some cool shots in Iceland and Nigeria with poorly mixed songs to chopped up interviews between Travis Scott and Rick Rubin, where Travis barely says anything might I add, to a concert sequence that literally hijacks the whole movie, and it does it in the most obnoxious way possible. You hear a few songs in some of the shots, and then he starts doing most of the first half of the album in a way where you literally just heard that song 5 minutes ago and he's playing it again. He repeats multiple songs and I'm pretty sure he repeats one three times, and I'm talking in full, when he has more than enough material to not repeat. But yeah, once this concert sequence starts, it doesn't stop, and the movie just ends. Probably 70% of the movie is the concert of songs you just heard and then a bunch of skipped songs rushing to end the movie because he's out of runtime/budget. Oh yeah, I just remembered that the movie opens up with borderline Travis Scott tentacle p*rn. That was weird.

Personally I really liked it the visuals are amazing but I would consider this more of a musical or giant music video there's not really a story and it's like a concert
