Clash of the Titans
audience Reviews
, 40% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe storytelling could've been a little better, but this was otherwise an amazing movie. It had an amazing cast of characters and was so much fun to watch. I definitely recommend it for fantasy and mythology fans!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsClash of the Titans had great potential to develop one of the greatest stories in Greek mythology, but its poor direction focused on just action scenes and CGI monsters.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsA great example of just because you can use CGI it shouldn’t be used unless there’s no way to do it practically. It’s lazy and looks like a computer game that’s dated terribly. The original took its time and each battle had impact. Here it loses that. Medusa’s dead, two minutes later Calibos is dead, oh release the Kraken. It doesn’t give itself time to breathe. I can see how this could have worked, but sadly it really doesn’t.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsConflict heroes villains action accompanied by great acting = AWESOMENESS, and this movie version had it all. (Liam Neeson plays Zeus and he looks just like my Uncle Billy.)
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsI enjoyed the movie, but the movie was really rushed and very short, it should have been at least 180 minutes long...
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis really wasn’t that bad of a movie. Especially now being in 2025 where almost every movie is either totally weird or lame
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThe original myth has enough action so they didn't need to add "modern" touches, kung fu moves, Asian monsters, Arab creatures, etc. The Kraken is not a Godzilla lizard but an octopus like monster. San Worthingless is a horrible lead.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIf you didn't grow up loving this mythological movie as a kid, then you're probably going to want to give it a watch. If not for the stars in this movie, many in the early years of their careers, but the fun romp of fantasy elements that are peppered throughout. Based off the original 80s version movie, this is a great visual upgrade, even if the acting is somewhat wooden and the storyline kind of predictable. A great Saturday popcorn movie!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI don't know what the critics were expecting. This is not Shakespeare. It's mythology. And it's a great adaptation for the modern audience
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsA star studded, well acted, grittier remake of the magnificent original with excellent special effects. No idea why it's received such a poor response by the critics and on RT as it's a superb movie which shows great affection for the source material and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. It honestly makes me wonder how many people leaving 'reviews' have actually seen the movie. Sadly, I missed it at the cinema but own the Dvd and would love to see it again on the big screen.
