5/10 for me! I caught a glimpse of the IMDb rating (from 3.6k!) via Prime Video before clicking play so saw the 3/10 average rating and naturally feared the worst. But you know what? I didn't actually find it to be all that terrible. Sure, it's a bad movie though that low a rating feels harsh to me. I can understand those that dislike this, admittedly. It is cheaply made, does feature amateur acting and the script is nothing to shout about at all. The horror elements aren't memorable and are all over the place. However, I honestly have nothing overtly against this. I think what helps is the very short 77 minute run time, films that are that short usually don't stick around long enough for me to build up any hate towards them to be honest. As already mentioned, the acting from those involved isn't anything all that noteworthy. I did find Sarah Pribis to be a tiny bit better than her co-stars, while Ice-T is OK in a small role and it's interesting to see Vincent Pastore and Eric Roberts (as himself, no less) appear momentarily. Speaking of the latter, I'm constantly fighting the urge to watch his entire 700+ filmography back-to-back because I know it would be a waste of my time... but part of me wants to. 🤪 A poor film no doubt, if not anything atrocious in my mind. That neat-looking poster is not befitting of what is portrayed onscreen, by the way.

Great film and it was really creepy. If your a fan of scary, thriller movies then this is the one for you. There were so many unexpected moments that kept me guessing and glued to the screen. A must watch from me! Plus the fact that Ice-T is in this is a bonus.

The story starts off with some clear warning signs. At first, the film hits with a promising title sequence and intro. Fast paced tease of the paranormal kind that almost sells the whole 'true events' moniker. Then within minutes it sinks into a lost St. Elmo's dive bar melodrama that totally wastes some cool celebrity talent. It seems to drag far longer than the 20- something minutes the beginning actually takes. There are a few cool concepts happening in "Clinton Road". For one, the weekend in the woods horror trope, as overplayed as it is, is fun and creepy. Second, the paranormal and cursed location (based on a real location) peaked my interest. Unfortunately though everything is thrown into the mix in the film with no real cohesive storyline to tie it all in. Just because various people have experienced random things on Clinton Road doesn't mean you have to put all of it in the story. The acting is hit and miss depending on character, depending on scenario. A few moments almost catch fire and create some real suspense, but I don't know, either due to writing choices or whatever scenes fall apart really quick. Not to mention that there isn't much horror in this horror movie. Just a lot of stuff happening with no clear reasoning behind the actions. Check it out if you want, but I didn't find much her to enjoy.

We live by Clinton Road and we were just down there the other day. My husbands pretty familiar with the weird USA urban legends about this place and he Said it pretty on target. The acting wasn’t exactly top notch and the ending really could’ve been a little better, but it was something being from Northern NJ I guess you had to see. Plus Iced at was in it who we always enjoy.

Loved the look of this film and the tension. Well acted and beautifully shot - highly recommended for anyone who loves good tension with supernatural elements that are well rendered and not cliche.
