Closer
audience Reviews
, 81% Audience Score- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsA group of shallow self obsessed and unlikable 2 dimensional characters get a bit upset about the sad lives theyve created for themselves.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsDon’t waste your time, terrible dialogues, waste of talent. Surprised very surprised about the critics and audience score. Stories of betrayal, low self esteem, pointless.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIf you believe in love at first sight, you never stop looking. Closer is a 2004 American romantic drama directed and produced by Mike Nichols 💘 A bonus point for Owen… Not bad, but not my favourite either 😐 Meh, it passed the time. Just. 😐 👍🏼👎🏼 A love story about chance meetings, instant attractions, and casual betrayals. Four strangers - with one thing in common: each other.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsPoetic. Intelligent. Wonderful movie.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe acting, as many say, is remarkable. Not what I’d have expected from Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman. Tremendously vulgar and subtle at the same time. But the dialogue and ideas behind the story are just as compelling, despite the deprecation by some reviewers. The competing modes of masculinity is particularly moving,
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI loved this movie! Love, lust, betrayal. Natalie Portman gave a knock out performance. You never get tired of looking at her. Jude Law was amazing also. Although no happy endings the movie took me through all the emotions one can feel when in love. From infatuation, to love, to hate and back to love. I never tire of watching this move directed by the gifted Mike Nichols.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsSome wierd parts in this film what made me feel also wierd but alright way the movie was going
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsVery poor script that doesn't give any depth to each character. The dialogues and facts sound completely unreal.
