"Concussion" is a film that is largely carried by Will Smith's committed performance. I liked the story and think it is an important topic that people should be aware of. I actually think from a psychology perspective, it could have been explored even more in depth, but what is presented in the movie is still engaging to watch. It is a movie that often feels very somber and serious, but I still think I was entertained, as I wanted to see where it would go next. Overall, it is not the all-time best biopic by any means, but it is elevated to a good one largely because of Will Smith's strong efforts in the lead role.

This movie I hope will make some of the young people who are playing football think twice about using the helmet and neck brace to tackle. The movie also shows that people are nothing but tools for the rich to amuse themselves.

It takes up three entire class periods so we don't have to do any work. Highly recommend to all teachers. MUST WATCH

Excellent movie, that brings to light an issue involving most contact sports that at for so long was either brushed aside or minimized, however in the case of this film it was clearly a suppression of information attempt by the NFL

Will Smith needs accent coaching. Not believable.

People who are employed as critics are either out of touch news folks whose primary interest is something other than film, or hacks who couldn't hack it in the industry

They played it safe, and figured they had a winner with Big Will in the driving seat, with one hell of a meaty subject. Alas, they should have cast a Nigerian actor. and should have delivered a much better ending than they did. It's a really enjoyable movie, given the subject matter and the development of the story

This film is very one sided. Does not give credit to how much effort the NFL and other sports has taken to mitigate the problem. Bad representation and misleading.

    Starring the slapper himself.

It's insane that people needed someone to tell them that hitting your head several times is bad for you, especially when we realise the resistance in accepting that a doctor would be more reliable than a corporation on the matter. This whole thing made absolutely no sense and I'm glad there's a film with Will Smith to tell the story, it's worth the watch.
