Contract to Kill

One of the worst movies I have ever seen and has ever been made.

Un film de acción con una interesante premisa, pero con una historia simple que requería de más contenido y deja mucho que desear. Steven Seagal aún es un buen peleador, pero su personaje requiere de ciertos ajustes. La trama es algo confusa y cuesta unir las piezas. Aunque las escenas de acción son aceptables, faltaba más energía, ya que casi toda la película es aburrida y solo el tercer acto es más disfrutable. La dirección es bastante rara, dando como resultado una película bastante regular, con muchos errores e incoherencias que tenía mucho que ofrecer, pero se quedó corta. Mi calificación para esta película es un 6/10.

Contract to kill is your typical low budget Seagal film. At least the best I can say is Seagal was in the entire film instead of giving us a 10 minute cameo like he’s been doing lately. But the film is pretty much what you expect. One dimensional characters, poor action scenes, bad acting, and a cheesy story. Seagal is just too old to be doing films like this. He needs to pass the torch. Scott Adkins and Frank Grillo are the next low budget action stars.

Horrible, a waste of time even for free, much better action movies to watch. Seagall has become a bad joke. He could never act but now he is aging and gaining weight and still a terrible actor. Movie makers should use this money to try out new actors.

Absolutely terrible. Seagal can be quite entertaining in some of his old films. Must do a lot better, this was seriously disappointing.

This movie defines the phrase "this is the cat's ass." It's like staring into a cat's butt hole for over an hour. Did I miss something? When did Seagal begin starring in low budget action films? It's filmed in the same filter as either a high-quality soap or a low-quality porn. I would be convinced this is a parody, tongue in cheek, about Seagal's action A-list days but he takes himself way too seriously in this film for it to be that. The awkward forced usage of cussing doesn't help much either

Hadn't seen a Seagal movie in a while. Probably won't again for even longer. Any acting ability he had has atrophied into a monotone, couldn't care less near whisper. His martial arts abilities appear to be gone as well. It's all hands and arms now. They never show him without several layers of clothes on, even in what is the worst love scene I've ever watched. By the book mayhem driven by a convoluted, confusing plot; Seagal gets his man, but he got everyone else too when he was ordered not to. So, do we cheer? Pretty much trash.

Seagal continues to deliver top notch action his way. He's no industry sell out.

Who lets this childish simpleton without any talent continue to get in front of the camera? Someone please care enough about him to stop him.
