Coraline is a absolute masterpiece, it’s a great movie and way better than home alone.
  • Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Coraline has caused a wave of mixed feelings between critics and audiences, but it finally proves that sometimes critics should be more trusted than the audience. The passion of the making of Coraline has proved itself worthy of being listed as one of the greatest animated films of all time. It deals with simple but iconic characters and predicaments, themes of the importance of family, curiosity of children and bravery of parents and some of the most beautiful stop-motion techniques and imagery that you won't get anywhere else. There hasn't been anything like Coraline since and before its release.

Wildly inventive, gorgeously animated and wrapped around a beating heart, Coraline is a stellar stop-motion picture that is both athmospheric and highly entertaining.

This movie was amazing as a kid it used to scare me, but I watched it over and over until I wasn’t scared. This movie expands your imagination for how you can see things in a different way. The cat would try to open Coraline’s eyes to see more from what’s actually there cause there’s always more to see to summon it up. This movie was amazing and I always rewatch it when I’m bored one of the best.

Not a PG, do not be fooled! Watching this for the first time as an adult made me realise why I was not allowed to watch it as a child. I could not finish the movie. The movie did exactly as it was intended to do, be so odd and so wildly strange that you feel so uneasy, almost too uneasy. I can see the hours of painstaking artistry that went into this movie which is why I am giving it 4 stars, it is so well made that I couldn't finish it due to its intended purpose.

This is great but it needs to have a PG-13 audience because of bad horror.

This movie was my childhood, but it scared me a lot, I think that the movie is more for PG 13 audiences because when you analyze the movie you found secrets that aren’t so family friendly, but perhaps that this movie is greatful and enjoyable to watch
