Quite a good movie in my opinion

This film is ok, good scares spread throughout with a pretty cool premise, but that's where the positives end, because everything else about this film just SCREAMS at the top of its lungs that it's mediocre, and don't get me started on the continuity errors, that's a WHOLE other review in of its self, it's ok and sometimes just plain bad acting do not help it, it has a story as suspenseful as paint drying, worth a watch but only if you're DYING of boredom or high

This is desperately unoriginal. At some points this is worse than a bad student film. At one point one actress asked the other “why are you acting so weird”, a stereotype in itself but all I could think was, “why aren't they acting?”. It reminds me of that atrocious sponsored YouTube movie I watched which thankfully I can't remember the name of and don’t look for it so you don’t accidentally watch any of it but this is actually a lot better than that atrocity. The only other film it reminds me of is maybe It Follows (2014) but this is nowhere near as smart or interesting. The only character I liked was the priest but even he was a bit annoying. The build up to the jump scares were sometimes good but the actual jumps badly done so wasted the suspense. This is not worth watching even if the finale has some excitement, the monster character doesn’t really fit the story and has a very unoriginal design.

It wasn't the scariest movie I've ever seen but the story line was solid, the actors were decent, and there was good comedic relief in an unlikely character. Character development in these kinds of movies are usually lacking but we got a sense of family from the main character here. I wouldn't go out of my way to rewatch it but It was leaving netflix and I thought I'd give it a try.

10/10 watched when I was a kid can’t get over it since. Very different to other movies except the unexpected!

Critics are being way too harsh for an ok movie, but it still wasn't the best horror movie. Avoiding the "generic horror movie" section, it isn't a scary enough film and has other flaws making it a mid film, you could find something better

This "horror" movie was more hyped than it was horror honestly, the plot is stupid, the horror part isn't even there at times, not that it was there in the first place

Eerie from the start, and a little confusing as we are thrown into a situation we know nothing about, however this serves a purpose later on. Keeps you on the edge of your seat for sure. Not original, but great execution.

It's a horror movie that im gonna watch only once. It's not bad, but i expected more of the scariness. The Plot is interesting.
