That's about fair, not a great movie. Just kept me interested.

Um adorável filme de suspense policial, com as maravilhosas Evangeline Lilly e Michelle Rodriguez, amo... Tendo como motriz dos pontos de ligação as drogas em voga, oxicodona e a metadona, e um nova droga fictícia, oscilando entre a dramaticidade que as drogas causam aos seus dependentes, a máfia do setor farmacêutico e a luta dos policiais infiltrados e informantes, tudo bem alinhando ofertando um ótimo entretenimento, nessa excelente, porém modesta e pouco badalada produção...

Lily and Oldman carry this flick with their seasoned talent and depth of characters portrayed. However, this script begun to languish and drag mid length and never quite recovers. Great topic to explore and the exposure of corporate greed at any cost, and yet, the writer fails to keep the audience captivated or interested. Perhaps more time for the characters to unfold would have cured this defect, as well as tightening 3 stories interwoven into one to be more prevalent to the viewer in it's execution.

“Crisis” emerges as a compelling cinematic piece, distinguished by its exemplary acting and narrative depth. The main DEA officer says "f**k" every sentence. It's overly forced & he's the worst actor in the movie. Besides him it would've been a great movie.

I liked the three-stories plot line. The acting was very good. I wish the DEA story was clearer. The professor (Oldman?) was superb. I was happy about the ending(s).

The opioid crisis is very complex and this was also an excuse for an tense action movie, but I think it dealt well with several possible angles to this issue. Respect for Evangeline Lilly's work as an addict mother who lost her son.

There is a lot of strong parts even if it doesn't quite come together.
