audience Reviews
, 51% Audience Score- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThe first movie was so bad what idiot thought adding new actors and throwing millions at a sequel would work.?
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsThe heartwarming moments seemed forced and overall the all star cast seemed wasted. There are still a couple of funny moments to be had.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsA repeat watch in our house!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsVery overhated movie
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis movie is so funny. I watch it for a Christmas movie every year and I laugh every time
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars"Daddy's Home 2" is my favorite movie, alongside "Crazy Rich Asians". It's festive, funny, and has Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsJudge movies by what they are, this isn't a Scorse film or a Drama it's a Christmas comedy and it does it extremely well. It has a lot of laughs, innocent moments, gags, Christmas songs, and a funny chemistry between all the characters that feels like a modern take on Christmas with separated families.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsDaddy's Home 2 retains some of the charm of the first movie, but there are a few areas where I felt it fell a bit short. Revisiting similar plotlines with the same characters didn't resonate as well for me. While Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg were good in their roles, the overall plot felt less charming. John Lithgow and Mel Gibson were okay additions, and the movie wouldn't have worked without their characters, but I wasn't particularly fond of either. The Christmas background added an enjoyable element to the film, but as more characters got involved, I felt the movie struggled to handle it all. Despite these drawbacks, it was still a fun time, and I would watch it again whenever.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsA hilarious watch with light hearted jabs at everyday life and what it must be like to be in a blended family during Christmas. Definitely added this to the holiday must watch list. I don't understand the lower score on rotten tomatoes because this delivers….as a great classic comedy that captures the parallels, differences, and comedic value between the cool guy and the safe guy in regards to putting aside any differences for the kid's/ families sake.
