Dakota
audience Reviews
, 67% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI think that it is a great family film. The baddie is a real baddie and plays the part well. You have the heart break and hope that the family will succeed in saving the farm. Dakota is a great dog, may be more of the dog could be seen. I enjoyed the film and would watch again.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI'm a sucker for a good family movie, but that is not what this is. The story was just ridiculous. It felt more like the conflict was making the dog a part of the story. The existence of the dog could have been deleted and the movie wouldn't have changed much. It was cheesy early on, but got much worse
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsMy kids seen it on prime and they were cheering right to the very end. Abbie Cornish, Tim Rozon and William Baldwin all did great as was the storyline and ending. This is one of those entertaining films you can watch without getting bored. Well done!!
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsThis PTSD dog story works on all levels. Dakota's charm is irresistible and while the story could've been a bit tighter, the rest of the cast comes through giving the viewer a perfect wholesome time.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsBeautiful movie shot in rural Georgia. Strong performances and who doesn't like a good dog film? My kids loved it and it was grown up enough for my wife and I to be thankful as well.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsOld school dog family film. Not many of these made these days. Cast is better than most hokey family films. Beautifully shot and moving story. As a parent I am highly for these types of films.
