Dark Light

I should have known it was going to be bad buuuuuuut ever the optimist I decided to hell with it let's give it a chance. How can I put this nicely… I would rather take repeated punches in the cubes by a steroid injected mma trained gorilla than watch it again!!

Part alien part stranger things it never really makes sense and falls into a lot of the horror pitfalls like the big bad not being able to navigate doors and windows. Also was never sure the timeline of what was happening. At one point the ex husband showed up after being shot and was fine.

Terrible movie….ridiculous plot…awful script! More unanswered questions than a felon pleading the fifth! Are there 1/2 Star ratings? So many loose ends I stopped counting. So she (tagging her daughter along) became the hardened criminal on the run wanted for the murder of the conspiracy theorist, the sheriff and her ex-husband? Not to mention arson for burning down her own home, and breaking out of prison guard custody before that! I want my 90 minutes back!

Wow. This was one big hot mess. The script was bad, the directing was bad, and the acting was even worse! The ending was abrupt and incomplete. And all those bright red and orange lights beaming through the windows and through the trees (in the outdoor scenes) added an extra layer of TACKY to this already DOOMED film! - it looked like a bad grade school stage production! The movie had a cheap, artificial look to it. And that title, "Dark Light".... NO reflection to the film whatsoever!

Acting was not very good..

Anyone that rates this film as bad are just stupid. And the lead actress is sexy af

This movie is garbage, don't waste your time.

Cool monster, but lazy writing rife with plot holes, forced plotting, and incongruous leaps in the narrative. It's barely a two-star.

I enjoyed the slow pace. If I had known less about the movie to start with, I could have been fooled into thinking she was just losing her mind. Fairly pleased with the ending (albeit slightly predictable). Aside from the irritating kid and standard cop who doesn't believe anything, acting was good.
