What a damn mess. Seriously. A damn mess.

I literally have nothing to say about this movie. Don't waste your time, and don't worry about watching this for the story, I'm 99% sure it's not canon.

Appalling that they just about replaced all the actors with a very young crowd, them turned around and added a miserable plot. This was tough to watch. Complete disrespect to the franchise. It'll be tough to rebound from this. Everyone is so monotone with very little excitement in their character. It's like they just argued behind the scenes, and then started filming.

Great actors, absolutely appauling man hating story writing. It's obvious they have absolutely no idea about the characters. Good visual effects but man just when you think it can't get worse it does.

I hate the Jean “x-men” movies, always terrible. This movie sucked butt. Period. Nothing else to say.

I alone enjoy the X-men franchise, it was nice to see that the cast from the prequels came back in action to play the younger version of the characters. I get that there are some flaws, but that is small compare to what I have seen. Overall, it lives up to continue the saga.

Fassbender is great as usual, but that's the only thing worth it in this disastrous, slow, end to the franchise.

Holy hell what a massive disappointment. I watched this years ago when it came out but recently revisited it, re-lived all of the horrors, and came here to vent really… Jennifer Lawrence’s performance was virtually non-existant. All of the characters make such terrible decisions with wildly flimsy reasoning that makes absolutely no sense and is inconsistent with their character personas. The dialogue, my goodness it’s difficult to listen to. Jean comes to Eric for help, attacks a bunch of officers, slams Eric aside, and then asks why he isn’t helping her? Also Hank, who is arguably one of the most moral X-Men, decides he wants to kill Jean? Even if she was the cause of Raven’s death, that is just so out of line with his character. Also the complete lack of any desire to keep the story canon, out the window. What even is the point? Also what a waste of good actors like Jessica Chastain, McAvoy, and Fassbender. The SINGLE good thing about this movie is Hans Zimmer’s score because that man can never not deliver.
