I got the privilege to watch the Vishwak Sen starrer Das Ka Dhamki and I loved this film so much that it took me two days to finish it.
First of all what the hell was this abomination ? I started this film with my family and by the end of the movie it was me alone. This film was just unbearable on so many levels and I absolutely despised it.
The first half is what ruined this film, the setups were simply awful and uninteresting due to which the twists or the reveals didn't have the intended impact on the audience. If only they utilised the Chekhov's gun technique this film could've been so much better. At a point the film becomes extremely predictable and I got disconnected. I haven't seen a screenplay this messed up in recent times. The twists were honestly good but thanks to the terrible setups the film failed miserably.
The performances of this film were just unbearable and loud or just clichéd. The film is filled with many great performers but everyone got wasted owing to the hammy screenplay. The comedy of this film got the worst out of all the actors and it was depressing to see actors get wasted this way.
I wouldn't recommend this film to anybody, not even to my worst enemy. If I had to describe this film in a single sentence it would be Every Chiranjeevi film ever meets Don(2006).
