Deadpool 2

If you like your cinema understated and refined, then this is not for you. But for the rest of us, there's enough to enjoy here.

I don't think the second film is terrible, I did find it quite dull.

You know when you first see a meme that's fresh, still funny? Now, think about when you see that same meme after 4 months worth of riffing....that's Deadpool 2.

...no grand satire here, just self-awareness - and enough surprises, solid jokes and well-crafted action sequences to be entertaining.

I enjoyed Deadpool 2. For its humor, for its action sequences, for its relentless breaking of the fourth wall, and for giving us real, undeniable queer ladies.

I loved this movie, I think it's funnier and more intelligent than its predecessor, but I know it's not for everyone.

“Deadpool 2” caters to a big audience, most of whom have no problem gorging themselves on what amounts to cinematic junk food. But if you’re hungry for something with a slight bit of substance, you’ll want to look elsewhere.

Practically nothing in the sequel works from the repetitive and belabored jokes, to the wooden acting especially from Julian Dennison, to the underwhelming story, it’s bad. I truly hated it.

The flames are fattened, the bloodshed is bolstered, and the hail of hot lead is heightened as all of these wild elements compose a parade of profanity and dirty delights.

Overall, not as good as the first film. While the sequel is bigger and funnier, the story is more uneven. However, it does succeed in places where the previous one failed... it has [more] gravitas.
