Gorgous, entertaining, great story, great acting, great sets and gowns, it is a perfect movie!

So glad I got around to watching it. Gorgeous everything. All around so well done. It definitely deserves more recognition.

Great depiction of a chefs struggle- even in modern times the same hurdles exist. The love story and historical details add an additional bit of interest. I loved the story and the actors ability to convey his feeling with his facial expressions. I do not speak fluent French so the main character made the movie!

Wonderful and unique story, beautifully told and filmed. I felt as though I was watching an oil painting come to life.

What a refreshing, feel good movie. I'm so glad I made the choice to watch this movie today.

I enjoyed the history, the cuisine, the mores taken on. Sadly, had they been less progressive in their take on the French culture from the late 1700's it would have been more realistic. Regardless, it entertained and informed. It was on Amazon.

Como su nombre revela, está deliciososa comedia de época, teóriza sobre el primer restaurante del mundo, antes de la revolución francesa, construyendo con ello una historia además de muy entretenida, edificante y que logra dejar al espectador con un muy buen sabor de boca (y con apetito). Imperdible.

This was a simply sensational film. Everything about it: cinematography, acting, compelling story was exquisite. I can't even begin to describe the lushness of it all. Something about it brings to mind the classic oysters eating scene in Tom Jones, though this is far richer in texture. Truly it is a feast.
