Deliver Us

Deliver Us was quite a solid 'end of days' horror / thriller. Solid performances from the cast, reasonably well-paced story and plenty of intrigue to keep you watching to the end. Sure, it's got a few holes, but there have been plenty worse religious apocalyptic movies released in the past.

An absolute waste of time with more holes than plot. Watch the nun instead

There is no point to this as the main plot point is less of a factor than two crying babies. Lord, deliver us... from more movies like this.

La premisa de la película es buena: Una monja está embarazada de dos niños. Uno es el mesías y el otro es el anticristo. En toda película veremos esfuerzos de ambos bandos, uno por destruir al niño malo y otros por proteger la vida a toda costa. El público, una vez nacidos los bebés, se decantaran seguramente por preservar la vida de ambos. Yo no veo esta película como de terror, es más bien como un film dramático porque no es el típico en el que los abruptos sustos inundan la pantalla. La película, aunque un poco lenta en el medio, me parece que te mantendrá entretenido. No me gusta del todo el papel del protagonista (lo considero débil y falto de carácter) pero el resto del elenco lo hace bien. Si no tienen nada que hacer, véanla, no está mal.

If you're into more thriller and drama religious horror movies, rather than the constant jump scare ones, you will most likely enjoy this.

pretty pretty good. worth a watch

Combination of Rosemarys Baby, the exorcist and the the shinning. Usually don't watch these kind of things but the immaculate conception reference sucked me in. Creepy movie.

Different from your typical scary movie. It's occult without the jump scares and typical spooky ghost storylines. But still creepy and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Very good.

The storyline is fine, the gore is good, but it's just too slow. The distraction in the middle with the other chick was really all it was, there could have been more to the story. Not really worth watching to be honest.
