Overdrawn, Slow-paced, lowbrow action flick without a lot of action and 45 minutes to an hour too long. Perhaps lowbrow is too harsh, since it would look very good in the 1970's or 1980's when cigarette smoking was a status symbol... but it’s 2025. I suspected to be what it is which is why I didn’t watch it until it got a sequel, so I figured ‘well, maybe it’s a good surprise.’ It’s not. I saw the comparisons to Heat, I am not the biggest Heat fan but this was not even close.

Greetings from Lithuania. Without any doubts, "Den of Thieves" really had took a lot of inspiration from "Heat" - from an opening shot till its characters and its theme - it was all there. Unfortunately what it did lacked was amazing characters, terrific antagonist, and perfect shootout sequence - all main things that made "Heat" perfect. On the other hand "Den of Thieves" was a pretty entertaining movie on its own. It had a good central hero played by always great screen presence Gerard Butler. It had a good looking but unfortunately lacking charisma antagonist -they could give more to this character. Also at running time 2 h 20 min this movie was surprisingly very well paced and barely dragged. The shootout scene at the end was not bad at all. And the ending left me surprised, and in a pretty good way. So at the end of the day i liked this movie - it was good. But it could have been so much better!

Too long and zero likable characters, but they have guns, I guess.

Trash! The first one was way better.

Full-throttle action, amalgamating every adrenaline-fuelled franchise that came before it, and adding GB into the mix. It's entertaining to a point, but feels like overkill. Great for something high energy in the background, but not one I'd return to as a solo activity

Very entertaining with an interesting story. The plot twist was also fun to see unfold, despite being a bit predictable. The acting was alright, you don’t get to develop an attachment with some of the characters, but it surpasses expectations for a heist/action movie. Overall very good watch.

A similar style to Heat without Mann, Pacino, and DeNiro. Entertaining enough.

Great cast but we've seen Michael Mann's Heat and in Den of Thieves they copy some of the vibe including the musical score and they didn't film in Los Angeles they filmed on Georgia which is a big letdown.

I don't know how someone could not like this movie. I guess they don't like action and good acting with a good storyline. The cast also was pretty awesome.
