Writer/Director Victor Levin’s dialogue is fast paced, intelligent, and funny. Reminiscent of Woody Allen. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if Woody is his inspiration. I thought that was the case when Mr. Levin was writing for Mad About You back in the ‘90’s. Winona Ryder shines and brings out her inner Carole Lombard making a perfect coupling of actress and dialogue but Keanu Reeves is, well, Keanu Reeves - Mr. Monotone. His lines are funny despite his delivery because they are so cleverly written. One could only wish that Director Levin had Ryan Gosling instead or maybe Matthew McConaughey.

    Great cast, amazing performances

I loved the dark humour of this very consistent script and the slow resentful chemistry the two leads have. With all other characters non speaking, the movie centers on these two broken individuals who begrudgingly accept that they may well make each other happier. Their awkwardness is endearing. As enjoyable as “When Harry Met Sally” for me.

This is a charming, eclectically funny film about people who are not meant for each other, whose views on life are too fractured to even warrant being together, yet somehow they do. It’s incredibly verbal and incredibly funny because of it. Reeves & Ryder are great together & I’d almost hope for more, but I don’t know if a sequel to this flick would turn out as well.

You know Reeves & Ryder actually have chemistry together but the problem is they are given terrible dialouge, subpar direction, and dumb character backgrounds tht never in the slightest work there way into the plot. The acting is just terrible overall and it's a shame because with better lines they could do something with it. The music is boring generic and forgettable. The editing isn't good and everythign else is bad. It just feels like stuff just happens as we watch them argue and bicker literally nonstop. The setting isn't memorable, this never builds to anything meaningful, and at best it just hits the same notes every other romcom does. For such a short runtime it's kind of harmless though. Skip This.

I instantly hated the Keanu and Winona and this made me love the movie, they were equally annoying

While the characters are annoying, they are also funny and more honest than most people you will meet. This definitely had some laugh out loud moments. I liked Winona Ryder's character more than Keanu's. I can see why some people don't get the humor in this, but it seems these two are more like most of us than we'd like to admit.

So glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. This movie was good! I laughed out loud a bunch and even created a profile just to leave a review. Loved it!!

I love this movie. The characters grow on you over the course of the movie (much like crabby relatives that you come to love) and the dialogue is hilarious. The ending is over the top wonderful!

Probably one of the best non stop dialogue movies I've ever seen. Great movie from beginning to end!!!
