Dhoom 3

Depending on your cinematic sensibilities, this energetic, exhausting film can be regarded as festive fun or a tikka turkey.

So does Dhoom:3 deliver? Yes and no.

This then is the way Bollywood ends 2013, not with a bang but with a whimper.

Dhoom 3 is a victim of both a crying lack of imagination, and franchise fatigue.

"Dhoom: 3" has-by far-the best action set pieces of the series.

When Dhoom 3 is going at full tilt, as in an autorickshaw chase over corrugated tin village rooftops, it's an exhilarating ride.

Dhoom 1 & 2 delivered on the promise of unrelenting entertainment. In Dhoom 3, it’s clear that the franchise is wearing thin.

India has made intelligent movies for decades. Dhoom 3 is not one of them.

Dhoom 3 represents the very best of Bollywood, throwing multiple elements into a blender and creating a rather sublime and entertaining experience.

Action and humour are the mainstays of the series. Though conspicuously low on the latter (no thanks to Uday Chopra's tired jokes), Dhoom 3 lives up to its title with all the over-the-top daredevilry at display.
