Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul

This one was not good. It's hard not to draw comparisons to the Zachary Gordon led Diary of a Wimpy Kid trilogy but this one just felt like a bad knockoff with unrealistic plotlines and action scenes. The casting is just not as memorable and I was left waiting for it to end. I rarely find myself re-watching this one after watching the original trilogy.

If you don’t love this movie you’re crazy. The acting is amazing for all ages! (Btw if u don’t love this movie ur a beardo)

As much as I feel for the Rodrick actor, this movie sucks

As a fan of diary of a wimpy kid, I HATE THIS SO MUCH. So casting sucks, and the most likable character looks ADOPTED. the story makes no sense too!! Like, the long haul book was amazing! But this? THIS? Why?

Although this movie has the same old humor since the first movie, both kids and adults will find this slightly entertaining because they will have to wait 4 more years until the animated reboot by Disney. Until then, they might have to get caught up and complete the live-action franchise by watching them all.

With new actors who don't capture the same family dynamic as the previous movies, The Long Haul should've never been made and the humor was too forced.

good storying, acting is just okay BUT #NOTMYRODRICK this is gonna be the reason they dont make another life action one because the backlash they got on this one

By the looks of it I cannot recommend it to anyone this looks like it will appear in my nightmares of the worst diary of the wimpy kid ever. #notmyrodrick

It was a fun movie. Don't see what all the disappointment is about.
