Die Another Day
audience Reviews
, 41% Audience Score- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt starts out promising, with a thrilling opening sequence, but soon falls into the realm of hokey for much of the remaining runtime. Pierce Brosnan maintains his usual suave persona, and the cars (even the invisible one) are as sleek as ever. The silliness creeps in when the villain physically alters his appearance and voice, and when Bond out-sails a horrendously digital tidal wave. Still, this isn't the worst 007 outing.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsPossibly the worst Bond film. Still like Bond himself and the cars. Other than that it is too silly a plot, almost every character is awful and the refresh to a more serious tone was clearly needed.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsGoffy pacing once again
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI think as I get older I actually enjoy this movie more. I never get tired of that first Halle Berry scene.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsAn entertaining enough film with everything one would expect.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsPierce Brosnan tries his all and there are a couple of passable action sequences (poor cgi though), but this a terribly written, overstuffed and messy film in the iconic franchise that is further defined by its laughable plotting and humdrum characters (including Bond's worst and dumbest villain yet)
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsThis is the one film that I will never understand the hate for. I absolutely love everything in this movie. The girl, the villains, the henchmen, the gadgets, and everything else is amazing.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsits okay as a 2000 action movie but terrible as a James bond movie. 5/10
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsWhile the movie starts nicely with a darker tone, it quickly changes to moron-mode and gives us the worst action cgi scene in movie-history … plus the worst Bond-song by far far far …
