Don't Hang Up

You know it's a bad sign when halfway through the movie you ask yourself, "Am I supposed to care about these characters?"

This movie really struggled with its realism meter. I couldn't tell if this movie wanted to make the antagonist paranormal or not. There's no real basis for this movie have a paranormal antagonist, yet the screenwriting pretty much gave him paranormal level of powers. Whoever developed the plot needs to work within the limitations of their own universe. The acting was pretty good and had nothing but good looking people, which I appreciated a lot about the film and made it much easier to watch. I think the original prank call from this movie needed some polishing.

This movie was absolutely a tourture watch. I don't see how the 33 rating is here. It had all the movie sins. Like this movie, don't hang it up, it needs a tumble dry.

This movie was so much better than I thought it would be! Kept my attention! Wish I would have seen it at the theater when it came out! Definitely worth watching!!!

Absolutely awful. Doesn't even deserve 33%. Irritating tone throughout the first half, completely unoriginal, poor story, poor direction, overall bad execution of a completely tired plot and idiotic premise.

Definitely a hidden gem. Glad i came across this movie. Very interesting.

this was better than scream and the babadook

Not bad for a streaming movie considering most of them are low budget and poor acting. Don't Hang Up didn't have any jump scares. While the movie had some rolling eye moments, there were some good twists. The suspense of wondering who was behind the murderous prank kept me watching Don't Hang Up until the end. I admit, it shocked me but made so much sense. The movie sent me on a whirl wind of emotions, from frustration to huffing, Rollin eyes, to oh my God. From sympathy to thinking they deserved it. I would recommend Don't give up to anyone who enjoys the horror feels but instead of the scared, jumping, squealing in fear feels, it's more of a suspense feel. I believe it's worth watching if you're in a slump.

Was very low budget & predictable. Just a random movie we streamed one night.

There were parts that were good but for the most part it's not very good. The ending almost made it worth it. Almost.
