Don't Turn Out the Lights
audience Reviews
, 32% Audience Score- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsConstant secondhand embarrassment, wasn’t scary or funny. And I could see the physical backdrops behind them. I’d give it 0 stars but alas, I can’t.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsInteresting premise with a cool concept. However, the dialogue is painfully unfunny. While it has a cool atmosphere, the execution of the film severely holds it back.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsSkip this..I'm watching it & literally reviewing this mess of a movie. Who wrote this crap? Characters have no sense, no chemistry that makes me believe that they could be friends. Their motivation for anything dealing with survival is illogical. Dialog is awful. Skip it
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsNot so bad for a low budget 🎥 movie.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThis had the potential of being good. I think the writers/directors had the idea of this being a campy comedy/horror, but it fell flat. Half of it being because the acting was bad and so over-acted, and secondly, it was incoherent. It was going in different directions, without there ever really being any explanations. Some movies leave the ending mysterious so the watchers can create their own theories, but nobody could even do that because it was so messy, going in multiple different directions throughout the movie, there was no possible way I could figure out the ending and what actually happened. It did have a few moments to it that were a little creepy. The only reason I even turned it on was because the trailer looked interesting. But the trailer was 50 times better than the movie itself. Wouldn’t recommend. Glad I was able to watch it for free on a Hulu 30 day trial.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI really dug this movie for the most part. Some parts were a bit overacted.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsIt was such a random movie a demonic supernatural movie mostly centred around an RV ... there was barely any horror there was a bit of blood but the kills was off screen I didn't hate the cast I reckon they did a good job but could've been better it felt like I knew what was gonna happen during the film very predictable
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsI think what they should have done is increase the amount of possibilities 10 fold and it might’ve turned out to be an ok thriller comedy.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThis movie was about the fear of the unknown, the gaps between our reality and imagination. It highlights all of our collective fears. I believe characters were meant to put on a fake (almost too happy) face in the beginning to reel us in to the seriousness at the end. Let’s be honest we put on our best face for friends, and this movie challenges taking off that mask. It forces characters to make hard decisions and this is what defines us in the end. Death leads to another dimension, and that is terrifying for our minds to understand. This movie has depth if you are willing to find it. Definitely worth a watch if you like thriller movies with some eerie scenes.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHas alot of typical horror movie tropes but fails to truly execute any of them. It feels like this movie wasn't sure what it wanted to be and got lost trying to be to much.
